Call us at 408-918-7900 the first business day after your release between 2pm and 4pm to report as required and receive further instructions.

Can I leave California while my case is pending?

Only a Judge can give you permission to leave California. Your attorney may ask the court to give you permission to leave California.

How do I get my release conditions changed?

Only a Judge can change the conditions. Your attorney may ask the court to change the conditions.

The victim wants to drop the charges against me.

The District Attorney is the one that decides to drop the charges, not the victim. The victim may contact the District Attorney at 408-299-7400 for further information.

How do I get the criminal restraining order changed?

Only a Judge can change the terms of restraining orders. Your attorney may ask the court to change the order.

Please be aware that a victim may also have a civil restraining order as well. You would need to go to the civil court to get it changed.

How long am I on Supervised Own Recognizance (SORP) for?

Until a Judge terminates your SORP grant.
